BACHELOR OF DRAMA

Bachelor of Drama programme provides a comprehensive grounding in the theories, technique, aesthetics, management, and technologies of drama and theatre. This programme offer flexibility for students to choose area of specialisation. Either professional or academic-based as a career.

Students must complete a total of 126 credits in order to be awarded the Bachelor of Drama.  The programme is to be completed in three (3) academic years, including 6 Normal Semesters and 1 Special Semester.

Possess a Diploma or any other qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia and the University Senate;

or

Have working experience in the related field for three (3) years;

or

Passed the STPM /

Matriculation / Foundation not the current year;

and

Passed audition and interview.

Possess a GCE A Level qualification with at least Grade B in any two (2) subjects;

or

Passed the Foundation Studies in Creative Arts (ASWARA);

and

Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET;

and

Passed audition and interview.

Semester I of the academic year commences in September while Semester II commences in February.

Deadline for Malaysian Applicants : April for Semester I Intake.

Deadline for International Applicants : May for Semester I Intake and October for Semester II Intake.
