Master of Performing Arts (Dance)

This programme offered with 56 credit the duration of the course is 3 semesters minimum and 8 semesters maximum. Candidates will be able to understand and analyze advanced theory of dance, performing arts, dance music, dance notation, choreography and research in dance field.


Benefits

Candidates will understand the dance from the aspects of analysis and theory and create dance discourse based on the concept of ethnochoreology. Candidates will also learn the cultural knowledge of post-colonial dance in Southeast Asia for research and stimulate the thinking and critical thinking in choreography.
